Week One!

So today I finished my first week at West Seventh; it’s already been amazing. I’ve been able to meet a bunch of the girls, and I’m SUPER excited about this summer! This week I’ve just been kind of getting used to everything. I spent a lot of time adding the girls on Facebook and trying to learn their faces.

I get to start teaching the 10th-12th grade girls’ Bible class on Sunday. Today I put up a bulletin board and got everything ready for the first class. I’m really excited about it! The theme is “myWalk.” I think that it’s going to be a very cool series. The first lesson is “iPray.” I can’t wait to meet all the girls and start teaching!

Next week Jerry will be gone to camp. Frank, the new associate youth minister, and I have several things planned for the kids who aren’t going to camp. It’s going to be a great week! :)
