Today + Last Week
So today was an absolutely fantastic day. Since I had no plans for today, I didn’t set an alarm. I woke up at 9:35 and said, “No ma’am. Go back to sleep.” I didn’t wake up again until 1:30! It was wonderful! I woke up feeling so rested! I had some cheerios and watched Law and Order: Criminal Intent with Mrs. Beverly. Then I had an amazing BLT for lunch! Mr. John came home, and the three of us watched the end of Four Feathers. I had never even heard of it, but Heath Ledger and Kate Hudson were in it. It was actually very good. Mr. John had to go back to work, and Mrs. Beverly and I decided to watch the last two episodes of The Voice. Neither one of us had seen any of the other episodes, but we decided to watch and see who won. Then we had spaghetti for supper. After I was completely stuffed, I watched the movie Rumor Has It, which was great. I just finished my homework, and I’m thinking about going to bed. I’ve only been awake for 8 1/2 hours, but why not?
This week has been great too! I got to hang out with several of the girls. Monday I went out with some of the ladies from church. That was so much fun! Cameron had a ball game, so I went to that. Jerry and I took the 7-9 kids to see the new Karate Kid movie, which was incredible! And Thursday we took the 10-12 kids bowling. I’m not so good at that lol. The girls had a paint party last night. It was a lot of fun. I have the best summer job ever! I really like Columbia. It’s not too big, not to small. And the people at West Seventh are wonderful!
